    Verdict

Not a strong race by any stretch of the imagination and this looks a good opening for Sunday's Well. David Elsworth's filly was outclassed in Group 2 company last time but had previously shown herself capable of landing a race of this nature when a staying-on runner-up over 10f in a Sandown maiden and is worth chancing to get off the mark despite a three-month absence. Sloe Gin had the selction behind when the pair clashed earlier in the season at Salisbury but has not progressed since so Ballet Girl, who shaped with ability on her sole start as a juvenile, may prove a bigger threat and should be noted in the market.
