Verdict

FIFTH AVE's run behind Royal Ascot bound Excel Bolt looks destined to make up into some strong looking form and Jamie Osborne's charge should be good enough to win the Novice Stakes race ahead of Jollywood and Scarlett Rocks. Although there are a few in here that good be anything the pick has run well in every start so far including when scoring over course and distance in a maiden. That run last time behind Excel Bolt looks o set the standard so she should be scoring here. Jollywood was another juvenile debutante winner for Richard Hannon, which came over a slightly longer trip at this track. Considering he needed every yard of that last race to get up the step down in trip doesn't look ideal. Scarlett Rocks followed a win in a similar contest to run a solid race in listed company last time. Those bits of form give her a chance so she should be in the mix. Malice Or Mischief was also a debut winner and could make up into a nice type but Fifth Ave looks the standard setter and has the call.
