In depth

Verdict

Clive Cox’ yard remains in fine form but BRIGHT AMOR ran into trouble when sent off favourite at Doncaster a fortnight ago. A clear run today could see him go close in this. The Golden Unicorn was no match for Hot Scoop when runner-up over track and trip but the latter has boosted that form by winning again and he should confirm running with Costa Teguise. Baton has yet to threaten and drops back down in trip while the newcomers look nothing out of the ordinary on pedigree with Coul Kat perhaps best of them.
