Verdict

Northern raider Blazeaway will have plenty of support here following his effort at Haydock, but that was a slowly run event and he may be flattered by the result. Although Laggan Bay has had plenty of chances, he does set the standard here. He appeared to find some improvement over this trip at Newmarket and he is taken to lose his maiden tag. Casual Look, who holds an entry in the Meon Valley Stud Fillies Mile, has done nothing to suggest she is up to that level, and a bigger threat may be Night Wolf, who face a difficult task on his debut and he is sure to have learnt from that effort.
