In depth

Verdict

Norman The Great won tidily enough on the Polytrack at Kempton last time and has claims of following up but Jane Chapple-Hyam's gelding is 6lbs higher now back on turf and may be a shade high in the weights so preference is for Street Warrior, who gets the vote over Masterofthecourt. The last mentioned is less exposed than most of these and is better than his most recent effort at Ascot suggests and has claims on previous form at Kempton. Jim Boyle's Press The Button has been running consistently well of late but may be a shade high in the weights, while Prime Powered would probably want a softer surface. Barry Hills has his string in good form so Aegis has to be respected but is hard to back with confidence on recent form and preference is for Street Warrior. James Unett's gelding has done little wrong of late, remains well enough treated and he gets the vote to resume winning ways.
