Verdict

Crystal Theatre's short head second on her debut at Windsor was a fine effort and she can gain compensation for that effort. The form of the race may not have worked out brilliantly, but Henry Cecil's filly must go close with just normal improvement from that first run. John Gosden runs the debutant Arc and Barry Hills runs the turf debutant Silent Comfort, but Windsor third Ponderon could well be the one to give the selection the most to do.
