Pearl Of The West has run here twice and won both times. She landed a nice prize at the Punchestown Festival in April and ran well on the Flat at Listowel last month. Play The Game has gone up 9lb for his victory on the latter track last month while Star Maker is 7lb higher for beating Tudor City at Killarney. The latter looks to be improving and should get into contention as should Ejayteekay, who was only 3l behind and has since won subsequently at Ballinrobe. SONG OF NAMIBIA easily landed a novices' contest at Downpatrick and looked a certain winner when going clear at Wexford but was caught close home. He's taken to make amends though Ming Dynasty is another with pretensions after a surprise but comfortable victory at Kilbeggan.
