Fenlon's Hill ran his best race so far at Downpatrick though that was over fences. Oath Breaker ran poorly on that track last time though had shown signs of ability earlier but this can go to STEAMBOAT QUAY. Gordon Elliott's charge made a very promising comeback from a long absence when runner-up at Clonmel and started favourite at Down Royal but only got as far as the fourth. Redmond Hall showed that there should be a race in him when a close third at Wexford but Profoundly hasn't run since running poorly when sent to Southwell in September.
