Aeglos won a Leopardstown bumper in December and made his hurdling debut in Listed company though jumped poorly and was well beaten. HERMINIO, three times a winner on the Flat in France, has attempted to make all in both starts over timber and almost hung on at Wexford. He has the scope to do better and can get the better of Canny Tom, who has some strong form to his credit but is still a maiden after 20 starts, all but two over hurdles. Shamash won twice at Wolverhampton in March and ran well for a long way over hurdles at Fairyhouse the following month.
