Verdict

Paul Deegan complicates matters here by saddling two of the six runners and jockey bookings are probably irrelevant. Thakeham, who started life with the Curragh trainer, has been well beaten in sellers in the UK for David Evans recently while Braehead has disappointed since a fine debut at Dundalk. The latter is blinkered for the first time as are three of his opponents, Madame Gazelle, Proper Madam and CHEERS BUDDY. The latter has run well enough against decent rivals to suggest he can carry his big weight to victory with Danny Mullins' claim likely to prove crucial. Lara Larisa completes the line-up and has shown nothing to date.
