KEY LAGO may be able to shed his maiden tag now that his yard has emerged from a mid-season lull. He showed promise in a maiden at Ayr that has worked out well and was duly made favourite for his second outing at Southwell where he showed up well before the lack of a run told. He has shown plenty of speed so this track should suit and cut underfoot shouldn't concern him. Abzolutely was out of her depth in Listed company at York but should be competitive here if she's come out of the race okay whilst Scantily Clad was very well backed on debut and looks to face an easier task than she has done thus far. Jack Smudge and Mr Mo Jo are others to have shown promise and the market will, as ever, be of use.
