        Verdict

Chankillo beat Blue Top and Torero in a seller at Ripon last month but will find this tougher on worse terms, especially as the latter pair both made the frame on their latest starts. Lacey is of interest given he's lightly-raced and making steady progress. He wasn't beaten that far when sixth at Warwick last time but BAVARIAN NORDIC is the one with more obvious claims. Third to Maybeme in a higher grade handicap over track and trip at the last meeting here, Richard Whitaker's charge looks to have every chance of getting his head back in front in this modest company.
