Verdict

Farham has been raised only 2lb for winning at Haydock last time but is upped a grade for this. Stablemate Chiswick Bey is partnered by Tony Hamilton and has so far done all his winning over 7f while Count Montecristo finally won a maiden race when scoring easily at Hamilton but that was back in September. Marsh Pride won in this grade at the latter track last year and Hard To Handel was placed in soft ground at Newbury in August. But TEMPER TANTRUM (NAP) was not beaten far at Chelmsford last time and can effectively race off a lower mark with Louis Steward’s allowance taken into account. Michael Bell’s charge stays further so should be suited by this stiff mile trip.
