        Verdict

        DR JAMESON can add to Richard Fahey's strike-rate at Beverley. Steel Trade and Catch Key are others to bear in mind. The Tim Easterby-trained Catch Key - a half-sister to the stable's Game Lad - got going late in the day on her debut and created the impression she is capable of picking up a maiden at some point. Easterby's juveniles tend to come on for a run and this daughter of Key Of Luck may be a different proposition today. The betting market will be interesting where she is concerned. Steel Trade has a similar profile and has room for improvement. He will qualify for a handicap mark after today and is one to keep tabs on for the time being. However, Dr Jameson makes the most appeal for an immediate return and appears to have been placed to good effect by the Fahey team. The Malton-based handler is the most successful trainer at this course over the last five seasons and, as Dr Jameson appears to be following a tried and trusted path; he is our first port of call for punt today.
