Mey Blossom showed enough last time to suggest she can go one better here, with Miss Bronte a likely contender and Red Wings another for a minimal short list. The Richard Whitaker-trained selection built on a pleasing debut when runner up over this trip at Thirsk last month. She is worth another try although with the winner there having been beaten since it should pay to be cautious with your wager. Miss Bronte was not far away in a Wolverhampton maiden on debut and coming from an in form yard improvement is anticipated. Red Wings might prove to be the big danger. Alan Swinbank's charge is another who was bridesmaid at Thirsk last time, where she improved from her first run. She can do so once more, while of the others Brian Smart's On Instinct showed little first time but the trainer knows what it takes to win this and we could see a much better run from the filly now. However, Mey Blossom is taken to score.
