      In depth

      Verdict

Just seven runners here but most of them have shown some sort of ability and so a tentative vote goes to Ice Mountain, Perlachy and Josr's Magic may do best of the others. Bryn Smart's colt showed the benefit of his debut run when improving to chase home Argentine at Carlisle earlier this month. It is difficult to know just what to make of that form, but the third was five lengths away and so it could be decent enough. Perlachy has been model of consistency and put in another solid effort last time out when third behind Evens And Odds over course and distance. The time was reasonable and with conditions in his favour again today he does look a major threat. Josr's Magic has hit the frame in all three races to date and should be inj the money once again. Dotty's Daughter looks the best of the rest but our idea of the winner is Ice Mountain.
