A tricky apprentice handicap to end the card and Molotov is a tentative choice to beat Larky's Lob and American Cousin. The selection has not been running as badly as his form figures suggest and his disqualified third behind Winhill House last month is possibly the strongest form on show. He is partnered by a very capable rider and should go well against this weak opposition. Larky's Lob is steadily improving and wasn't beaten far behind Only If I Laugh at Yarmouth last time, he will be difficult to keep out of the frame. Meanwhile the old timer American Cousin can be given a chance on the pick of this season's form. All in all it is not a race to get too involved in and Molotov is just a sporting selection.
