Everymanforhimself has run consistently well in all three starts this term, latterly when a close fourth behind Sohraab at York, and a reproduction of those efforts may well suffice for Kevin Ryan's colt who gets the verdict over Lord of The Reins and Thunder Bay. The last mentioned ran well at the back end of last season and Richard Fahey's gelding has to be respected on his reappearance from a good draw. Namir has been running well but has paid the penalty at the hands of the handicapper and he may struggle to follow up his Ripon success of his latest start. Fyodor represents the in-form Willie Haggas stable but has been done few favours with the draw, while Captain Dunne similarly faces no easy task from stall three. Lord of The Reins is much better berthed in stall 17 and has to be respected on his current form at present but marginal preference is for Everymanforhimself, who is taken to gain a deserved success.
