This hasn't been a good race for three-year-olds in the past and Soie D'leau, though in consistent form, hasn't yet raced against his elders. See Vermont has already been narrowly beaten twice here this summer though he loves fast ground and the recent rain could have scuppered his chances. Jack Luey has been going well without quite getting there and was just behind El Viento when they occupied the places behind Tom Sawyer here last time. The latter hasn't won since 2013 but has dropped to a mark he's capable of scoring from. MARGRETS GIFT has the form to win this and though a high draw isn't a help on fast ground it's no problem when there is some give and she's only 2lb higher than her victory at Ayr in April. Windforpower is always respected at this sort of level and ran well behind Captain Dunne at Catterick last week.
