      Verdict

      Artful Prince knuckled down well to land a hat-trick when scoring by a head at Nottingham last time. An apprentice negates part of a 5lb rise so he should figure again but a chance is taken on the less exposed KEENE. The latter steps up in trip after a close-up fourth over a mile at Newbury but Philip McBride's charge has leading claims if lasting home. Ningbo Express is another who may figure attempting today's distance for the first time but Bahamamay is proving inconsistent having been well beaten since winning here last month.
