Verdict

TIME TO REGRET is given the vote in the finale at the expense of Batchworth Blaise and Prince Valentine. The selection has hit form in the last month and was in winning action at Thirsk before he was unable to defy a six-pound penalty at Wolverhampton last time out. He therefore comes into the race in fine form and another bold run can be expected. Batchworth Blaise is four pounds higher since winning at Goodwood putting him on a career high mark as a result. He has course winning form in his favour also so he has to be respected and if showing his best he will be in the shake up. Prince Valentine likes this track and was in winning action here in July. He was a little disappointing when finishing mid division over course and distance last time out so the handicapper may have had the final word. So for the winner we return to Time To Regret.
