Hollydaze was well beaten over today’s trip before better efforts over a mile while Affina finished runner-up at Doncaster recently and attempts 1m2f for the first time. Ashazuri has won twice on the Turf course at Lingfield this year and an apprentice’s allowance helps her cause in this but FABULOUS RED gets the nod. She struggled over a longer trip in better company at Newmarket last time but had earlier suffered a short-head defeat in this grade at Salisbury and Ed Dunlop’s filly gets the vote on that form.
