    Verdict

Amor Fati may have won easily at Chepstow a fortnight ago but that was over a mile and he has an 11lb hike in the weights to contend with. GENDARME (NAP) is preferred as he escapes a penalty for winning an apprentices’ race under Cieren Fallon at Epsom last week and Alex Dunn’s charge can strike again while the iron is hot. Zzoro has been threatening a return to winning ways though would prefer a softer surface while both Junoesque and Stormingin won lower grade contests before beaten on their latest starts
