Pour La Victoire won this back in 2015 and again last year but doesn’t arrive in the best of form and stablemate Doc Sportello is preferred of Tony Carroll’s four runners. Tin Hat never threatened when third at Windsor recently though still finished in front of Big Lachie while Dream Catching needs to find a bit more off his current mark after placing over 7f. Handytalk is penalised for winning a lower grade sprint at Ffos Las but another recent winner in GOLD AT MIDNIGHT is preferred. The latter continued her improvement with last month’s victory at Newmarket and is taken to defy a further 4lb rise.
