Liberty Run can land the finale, with Wassfa and Veba the ones to give him most to do. The final race on the card is a 'hands and heels' apprentice handicap, and one of the better young riders, Jamie Hamblett, teams up with our idea of the winner, Liberty Run. Trained in Hampshire by Mouse Hamilton-Fairley, the five-year-old was third to Bienheureux over further here last time, and although not ideally suited by 10-furlongs these days, he has won over the trip here in the past. Wassfa contested last year's Cheshire Oaks, finishing last of 12, and has not fared much better since in lowly company. Clive Brittain will leave no stone unturned in a bid to get her to lose her maiden tag, but as usual she is worth opposing. Veba was unlucky-in-running at Wolverhampton last time, and will be a popular choice for the frame at least, but we are happy to side with Liberty Run.
