Mandarin Spirit is our pick with Magical Speedfit and Diane's Choice rated as dangers. Greg Chung's charge is at his best with a strong pace upfront as that allows him to creep into contention when the race draws to its close. He didn't do a lot wrong at Windsor last week and compensation awaits. Magical Speedfit has had a few names called. That said, he acts on this track and that counts for plenty at Brighton. Diane's Choice is another to have demonstrated form at this circuit. She made hay from a helpful handicap mark last time out and can go well again. China Cherub is much better than her bare form suggests and she shouldn't be too far away. Buy On The Red might be better over further these days. Louphole caught the eye at Windsor when staying on into fourth despite the rider dropping the reins. Prince Of Delphi appears to act at quirky tracks but will need to produce plenty of work to get a pitch from his high draw. Mandarin Spirit is the pick in a race where plenty have solid formbook claims.
