Verdict

MASTER MACHO is marginally preferred to Two Feet Of Snow and Silly Billy. The confirmed front runner put up a solid effort in defeat at Haydock Park. He is not sure to get an uncontested lead but he has done enough to suggest that he should be winning a race sooner rather than later. Two Feet Of Snow went close at Newbury. Ignored in the betting ring, that did not seem to be the greatest race by that course's standards but Richard Hannon's horses continue to run well. Silly Billy showed improved form on his second start and on breeding, may make his mark over further. Kodiac Star looked all at sea on a previous visit to Brighton while Sister June may need a bit more time. Master Macho has a likeable enough profile for a race of this nature and he can go on to finally get some reward for consistency.
