Verdict

Artesium has shown a reasonable level of form on the Polytrack and Fibresand of late but has yet to reproduce a similar level of ability on turf so he may be best watched in a race that looks a virtual match between DIGGERATT and Just Five with preference for the former. The selection has been running well in handicaps of late, represents the in-form yard of Richard Fahey and, dropped into a claimer for the first time, the filly looks the one to beat. Michael Dods has his string in better form now so Jill Le Brocq, who is relatively lightly raced after just three starts, has to be respected but she needs to improve to trouble the judge. Tim Easterby's Off Hand has been fairly well held in recent starts in claimers and of more interest should be another runner form the yard of Michael Dods, Just Five. The three-year-old bounced back to winning ways when dropped back into a claimer at Beverley last month and he has solid claims but may struggle to give 10lbs to Diggeratt, who looks the one to be on.
