        Verdict

        Bobs Lord Tara opened his account over timber by winning a three-runner contest over a shorter trip here last month while though Shades Of Midnight never figured in Grade 2 company behind Glingerburn last time, he won at Kelso earlier. But, with the latter pair penalised and a conditional taking 5lb off, DEFINITE SOLDIER (NAP) gets the nod. He caught the eye staying on for third over today's trip at Ayr last time and should have come on for that racecourse debut. Bumper winner Glacial Rock struggled with his jumping on his hurdling bow but Solway Prince may figure if taking to the obstacles.
