In depth

Verdict

Gatorade, Weaver George and Harlov look the three to concentrate in this competitive handicap chase and the vote goes to the ever green 14 year old Weaver George. The selection was a fair third behind Wildfield Rufo last time out doing all his best work at the finish this stiff track will suit and off what looks a fair mark he is taken to score. Gatorade rates the main danger on his latest second behind Loughcrew but although he travels well in his races he does not always find as much as is expected off the bridle and at likely odds he is worth taking on. Harlov is another that could go well on his best form but he may just need the run after a 230 day absence and for that reason he is passed over on this occasion. Only One Matty is another that could go well on his best hurdles form but his jumping to date over the larger obstacles has left a little to be desired. Of the remainder Latensaani has been disappointing of late and can not be put forward with any confidence and for the winner we return to Weaver George.
