This looks fiercely competitive with a number of the runners coming into this race at the top of their game but it may just be worth taking a chance with the unexposed HAIRY MACLARY. He hasn't shown a great deal thus far but has David Allan taking over in the saddle from an apprentice as he takes a significant drop in grade and may be able to leave his previous efforts behind at a track where his trainer is profitable to follow. Obvious claims are held by Madame Excelerate, Gee Major and Gadobout Dancer whilst there should also be more to come from Blue Moon who proved to be more competitive in handicap company whilst headgear may transform the fortunes of the lightly raced Zamid.
