Verdict

An open-looking contest in which several appear to hold decent claims. Pied Du Roi disappointed at Worcester on his reappearance but is capable of better. Crinkle Crags could bounce back following a break as he's lightly raced. Slipper Satin won at Cartmel in the summer and has been placed on the Flat since while Roll Of Thunder was beaten less than a length at Kelso last month when attracting market support. Egmont appears to have taken well to hurdling but we're loathe to desert AMUSE ME, who appears to have been rejuvenated by a change of scenery and still looks well treated despite picking up a penalty for last week's wide-margin victory at Sedgefield.
