Verdict

Samizdat won off a higher mark here around this time last year and has returned to form recently. Dianne Sayer's charge is chasing a hat-trick after wins at Catterick and Huntingdon and is preferred to Classic Henri, who keeps finding one too good but continues to climb the ratings. Winged Farasi may just need his first start since December while the four-year-old Almutaham hasn't built on a debut second at Kelso but SEE THE LEGEND looks to have decent claims. Sandy Forster's mare has improved recently and may just have found 2m6f too far when well backed at Ayr last time - she is worth another chance.
