In depth

Verdict

Blackpool Billy is running out of excuses after refusing to go any further than the third fence at Kelso on Monday and is certainly worth opposing here. Ocarina was pulled up off his new mark at Wetherby in January, while Primrose Time disappointed over C&D last time. Bene Lad is only a pound higher than when runner-up to Polar Gunner at Kelso earlier this month, while Against The Wind got off the mark over fences over this C&D two weeks ago and should give another good account. But YOU KNOW YOURSELF continues in good heart and his recent second to stablemate Douglas Julian at Haydock is the best form on offer here.
