Verdict

Shoudawoudacouda is preferred to Doc Row. Peter Bowen's charge has had plenty of chances to get off the mark but this race has cut up badly and with moderate opposition obtaining, he can get his head infront after a very long time waiting. Doc Row has had a sizeable absence. He had a reasonable run of form prior to it and if able to translate some of that hurdling ability to the larger obstacles, he is a player. Badger quickly goes chasing after an inauspicious hurdling bow. Benny Bjork is a maiden under all forms of the National Hunt code. Cengiz looks thoroughly muleish and having made an exhibition of himself last Sunday, he proved particularly reluctant at his fences in a Newton Abbot event. Not a race that will live too long in the memory and Shoudawoudacouda is the selection.
