Verdict

It will be a surprise if there isn't more to come from Avoca Promise over the larger obstacles after just a couple of runs last winter. But he could be up against a potentially decent novice here in FOUNDRY SQUARE, who won over hurdles here last year but has always looked a chaser in the making. Dannanceys Hill was placed in all three starts over fences last season and should have no trouble winning an ordinary novices event this time around while Bracken House has been fair form over hurdles lately and could still have some scope.
