In depth

Verdict

Irish raider Celtic Monarch came here in May and gained a comfortable victory in a novice hurdle. He hasn't run badly at a higher level in his native country subsequently and looks certain to go well but conceding 7lb to the newcomer COOL SKY may prove beyond him. Donald McCain's recruit won a handicap on the Flat at Sandown in June and looks a nice hurdling prospect for new connections. It's A Mans World has won eight races on the Flat but has mainly run moderately over timber and Red Eyes looked in need of a longer trip than this on his debut at Market Rasen.
