In depth

Verdict

Green 'n' Gold, Bob Bites Back and Professor Hegarty look the principals in this begginers chase and the vote is given to Green 'n' Gold. The selection was a fair third behind Square Mile last time out, that form sets the standard here and with the drop in trip also in his favour he looks the one to be on. Bob Bites Back rates the maain danger on his best form but he is often let down by his jumping and at likely odds he is taken on. Professor Hegarty is a fair sort in points and returns to rules in a poor race so he should be watched in the market. Of the remainder Smokey Mountain is from a shrewd yard and should be watched in the market but in a trappy affair for the winner we return to Green 'n' Gold.
