Verdict

John Monash has only won at Perth so far and has a welter burden to carry but he's a model of consistency and has won his last two by wide margins. However, conceding a stone to BELLANEY KNIGHT may be beyond him as John Quinn's course and distance winner has the greater scope and recent rain is in his favour. Adarenna is the type to improve further with experience but Mondlicht has had plenty of chances and is likely to find at least a couple too good again.
