Verdict

Wicklow Lad retains form and enthusiasm at the age of 13 and Wayupinthesky has shaped quite well in the hunter chase sphere the last twice on the back of success in the pointing arena. Abbeyview is not the most straightforward of conveyances at times but today's pilot has got a good tune out of him the last twice in hunter chases, although he did idle rather badly when scoring at Towcester last time. However, MAN OF STEEL (NAP) sets a good standard for the aforementioned trio to aim at and is taken to build upon his recent Fontwell success. The fact that he is a course and distance winner strengthens confidence.
