Verdict

Whitsundays landed a maiden at Sedgefield on testing ground and attracted strong support on his handicap debut at Uttoxeter but pulled too hard and was well beaten. The veteran Hunters Belt has won five times over timber but this will be the furthest he's raced over on his 68th start. LENEY COTTAGE has had very little experience and was making his handicap debut over timber when leading at this trip before headed at the last when tackling 3m3f at Sedgefield. He should give supporters a good run and gets the vote. Turtle Cask is the only course and distance winner in the line-up but he's been unable to cope with an 8lb weight rise on subsequent starts while Flemerina is taking a huge step up in trip after scoring over 2m1f at Sedgefield and is 5lb higher.
