Verdict

Allfredandnobell won a maiden at Wetherby last month but the second was well beaten in a seller at Leicester on Wednesday and he has a penalty to carry. The Otmoor Poet has been placed in both starts to date over timber but never threatened in either. Shrubland was one-paced on the Flat and the switch to hurdles hasn’t made him go any quicker, though this is his easiest task to date. WALSINGHAM GRANGE has already finished ahead of Allfredandnobell and The Otmoor Poet this winter and his latest third at Wetherby looks the best form on offer in this so he can finally open his account.
