In depth

Verdict

Two Smokin Barrels is eyeing up a four-timer after beating Conquer Gold by more than four lengths at Kelso, though the runner-up is now 6lb better off. Actinpieces has her ground and was only beaten a neck at Wetherby last month but the one to beat looks to be TREATY GIRL (NAP). Ben Pauling’s mare relished the big step up in trip last time at Newbury and is on an upward curve, though Total Assets also stays well. La Dama De Hierro was well beaten when falling behind Two Smokin Barrels and Conquer Gold at Kelso but was having her first run over the larger obstacles that day.
