Verdict

SANDRA'S DIAMOND had her first start over this trip at Carlisle on Saturday and duly obliged with a hard-fought victory. A 6lb penalty shouldn't be too much of a problem as she scored on this track from just 1lb lower last summer and a quick follow-up looks likely. Alpine Flower has been looking one-paced over shorter so this trip could be the answer while Miaplacidus has a course and distance victory to her credit. Romantic Bliss looks better on Polytrack and gained his first success on the surface in April while Miss Acclaimed has been well beaten in this grade previously.
