Verdict

A couple of these have similar profiles and stand out from the rest. York Express had run well at Haydock before being outclassed in the Albany at Ascot. COMMANDER PATTEN also found life tough at Ascot when well beaten in the Windsor Castle but had gone close at Newmarket earlier. Alan Bailey's charge had finished ahead of a couple of subsequent winners at Headquarters and can land this with a similar effort. Misu Pete is a half-brother to the useful Miracle Of Medinah and is a newcomer to note.
