      Verdict

      The step up in trip and class proved beyond SECRET LIAISON at Ascot last month. But James Tate's filly had made a winning start over 5f at Thirsk in May and can add to her tally back at this level. Expensive Date finished well behind the selection at Ascot having won at Brighton before that while Come Uppence has gone backwards since his debut fourth at Leicester in April. Both Midnight Destiny and Surrey Pink have some improving to do to get involved.
