Verdict

Boric has run some excellent races in defeat this season and it would be no surprise to see him get his head back in front, though he’s still 15lb higher than for his last success. Morning Royalty should strip fitter for a run last month over hurdles and he’s only 2lb higher than winning at Kelso last season. Nortonthorpelegend ran poorly at Ayr last time but had gone close at Carlisle the time before and makes more appeal than Earthmoves, who may struggle to last home. Sue Smith runs two but STRAIDNAHANNA gets the nod ahead of an out-of-sorts No Planning. Danny Cook’s mount has had a light campaign so far and is eased in grade and the weights – he is also three from three around here.
