Verdict

This is a tricky juvenile event and the tentative vote goes to Fair Rosamond, Lady Superior and Quote Unquote, look to be the main rivals. Mark Wallace's charge ran a cracking race on her debut at Goodwood, finishing a close up third to Mixed Blessings. That appeared to be a much stronger race than this and with normal improvement she should be capable of landing this prize. Lady Superior was a promising second to Verite at Chester last time and should come on a bundle. Meanwhile Quote Unquote disappointed at Wolverhampton last time but had previously just got pipped at Brighton. Back on turf today she will be a major threat to all. Pick of the newcomers could be Smart Ass, but in a race where the betting will give some clues, Fair Rosamond is the choice.
