In depth

Verdict

The Meter returned the shock 150/1 winner over 7f here in October. But the runner-up has been beaten since and Mohamed Moubarak's charge carries a penalty. Red Desert made only a modest start when beaten at Wolverhampton and though improvement is expected here, ORIGINATE sports the owners first colours for a different yard. The Haggas colt finished clear of the rest behind a subsequent winner when third over today’s trip at Lingfield last time and gets the nod on that form. Biz Markee finished closer without threatening at Lingfield last month and the newcomer Majestic Dawn is worth a check in the betting.
