In depth

Verdict

A handicap winner last year, Luxor has struggled so far this season albeit in better company than this. By contrast, stable companion CELTIC MANOR has won both outings so far this year including his handicap debut at Doncaster last time and the Haggas charge is taken to cope with today’s step up in class. Heath Charnock defied a penalty in novice company over track and trip in May and can also figure while better is expected from Alkaraama returning to his winning trip after disappointing over 7f. San Carlos has recorded both wins over 7f while Intuitive has struggled in handicaps and Roxy Art drops in class and distance.
